    About Amanda

Amanda R. Green is a Partner at White Law Group of New York, where she concentrates her practice in matrimonial and family law. With substantial experience representing clients in complex divorce and family-law matters, Amanda handles cases involving equitable distribution, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, enforcement and modification proceedings, and the negotiation and preparation of comprehensive settlement agreements.

Amanda has devoted her practice to matrimonial and family law since 2016. Before joining White Law Group of New York, she served as a partner at Alber Sklavos, P.C. and previously practiced for more than seven years as a matrimonial and family law associate at Wisselman Harounian Family Law. Her practice includes drafting prenuptial agreements, stipulations of settlement, petitions, motions, and pre- and post-trial memoranda, as well as representing clients in court conferences, hearings, and trials.

Amanda brings a litigation-focused approach to matrimonial matters while remaining mindful that family-law disputes often involve deeply personal and financially significant issues. She works closely with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their individual circumstances, whether a matter can be resolved through negotiation or requires aggressive advocacy in court.

Her involvement in matrimonial law began early in her legal career. Amanda served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robert A. Ross at the Nassau County Matrimonial Center, where she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda and decisions, and observed matrimonial proceedings, negotiations, arbitrations, and mediations. She also gained hands-on family-law experience through Touro Law Center's Family Law Clinic, representing clients in Family Court matters involving child support, contempt, guardianship, and other family-law proceedings.

Amanda has also devoted significant time to pro bono matrimonial representation, including handling divorce, custody, parenting-time, and child-support matters through Nassau/Suffolk Legal Services. In 2016, Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center recognized her commitment to public service by naming her Public Interest/Pro-Bono Attorney of the Year.

Amanda received her J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and competed in the Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Hofstra University and has been admitted to practice law in New York since 2011.
